When I get the chance to sing on a film, etherial “oohs” and ahs” are a standard. I greet these “oohs” and has” with pleasure because I know they will evoke emotions from the audience. I know the occasional “creepy vocal effect” will be effective. There was that vocal moment though… that musical moment that evoked uncontrollable nostalgic joy in me! it erupted when about half way through the session I heard the traditional Ghost Busters theme. About half the choir had to be tamed as our bodies and voices reflected something in us that screamed for our inner child to respond. What an absolute pleasure it was to contribute a little piece to these iconic films. So very grateful I get to do what I do for a living!
