Thoroughly enjoyed another Distant World concert singing the music from Final Fantasy with full orchestra. For each concert, they tend to mix up the featured songs and soloists. I couldn’t be more pleased to have enjoyed the beautiful voice of Amanda Achen! Wow! What a talent! Her high notes were effortless and flawless! Bravo to everyone! It was such beautiful and satisfying music to sing!
I love that composer Nami Melumad had us sing styles ranging from floating high notes to sounding like drunk pirate babies! Ha! There’s never a dull moment with this fun career! Out now on Disney+!
Wow! Wicked, the movie is incredible! I knew from the moment Holly Sedillos and Edie Lehman Boddicker reached out in regards to vocals for this film, it would be epic! John Powell’s score did NOT disappoint! The session included score vocals (textured “oohs” and “aahs” along with the orchestra), as well as lyrics to the iconic musical. We were pinching ourselves during the session, knowing how surreal the moment was.
Always a thrill to get to visit Mickey. What a blast working with Kate Anderson & Elyssa Samsel along with Chris and Elyse Willis to provide vocals for some business elves! Kate Anderson & Elyssa Samsel also did the music for Olaf’s Frozen Adventure so it was nice to see their faces again!
It’s out! What a pleasure to sing as a “choir boy” in ARCANE’s new release, “League of Legends”! My girls and I thoroughly enjoyed watching previous episodes together and now I can’t wait for them to come home from college this Thanksgiving so we can watch the next episodes together! I stole my adorable stand partner’s hat ’cause I thought it went well with my fit. Ha! Emma was happy to oblige. What a treat to not only be able to sing with my friends but especially on a project I’m already a fan of!

I love getting to work with my old college buddies! Mike Lee is incredibly gifted with arranging… from orchestra pieces to vocals, he knows what we need to see on the paper. Great voice leading and creative approaches always make a session with him enjoyable and FUN! I also shared the stand with fellow APU cougars Wendy (Hinkle) Taquino and Kesha Nugent.
This was one of the first sessions back from the union strike. MAN if felt good to be back with all my family of singers! Thank you John Powell for writing for such a massive choir!
